The visiting Lancers had four players in double figures, but it wasn't quite enough Wednesday night in an 83-72 non-conference loss at Milwaukee Madison.

Joey Feudner led St. Joseph with 18 points, including four 3-pointers. Tim Berry added 15 points and six rebounds, followed by Andrew Alia (14 points, five assists, four rebounds) and Matt Schulte (10 points, two steals).

"Our coaching staff definitely felt like our players came into the game focused and determined to play 'Lancer Basketball,'" coach Brandon Morris said.

"We all learned a lot from each other as well as partially what it takes to be one of the best teams in the state."
