The Lancers Cross Country team participated in the Metro Classic Reunion Meet at Johnson Park in Racine this past weekend. The girls program secured first place with a score of 21, while the boys finished second with 31 points.

The girls team was led by Stella M (24:22.1), Hannah V (24:32.7) and Hannah S (25:33.1), who finished in third, fourth and fifth place, respectively. Alexa A (27:10.6) and Abigail R (27:12.8) had strong performances, which helped secure the team first place.

In the boys event, Aidan M (19:24.2) and Ethan E (19:49.5) finished in under 20 minutes, which earned them third and fourth place, respectively.

The Lancers are back in action on Saturday as they compete at the nationally-renowned UW-Parkside cross country course.
